Rupert Clements
TD BSc(Hons) MSc(Chiro)
Rupert studied Clinical Sciences at King’s College London before enrolling on a Masters course in Chiropractic at the European Institute of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey. He has been practising for 10 years and has moved his family down from a practice in Richmond in London for the far better lifestyle offered in the West Country.

Rebecca Strange

Rebecca is one of C1's sports massage and sports injury specialists. She has a diploma in Personal Training and has been working in a successful rehabilitation centre in Bridgwater for the last few years as well as looking after the county cricket team and sports education. She has an interest in sports and spinal rehabilitation.

Simone Crocker
BSc ITEC
Simone is one of the centre’s health and fitness experts. She is a sports massage practitioner, yoga teacher, personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach. Simone’s area of interest is in core stability and metabolism/nutrition for general health and sports specific needs. Her approach to wellbeing integrates Western science with Eastern philosophy.

Annie Fortune

Annie is C1’s Pilates Instructor. She is a ‘Pilates Foundation’ instructor with a background in the health industry having worked the last 14 years as fitness professional with much of her work involving health promotion and working with GPs. She is also a qualified Reflexologist.

Leni Rautenbach
MSc(Chiro) DC
Leni is one of our chiropractors. She qualified from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with a Masters degree. She enjoys providing care to people of all ages, and treating the varied problems which these people have. She is particularly interested in treating back and neck problems, often caused by long hours of office work. She is a firm believer that it is important to assess the whole body, not only to treat the painful areas, and to, when necessary, strengthen weak or injured tissues with exercise rehabilitation.

Helena Sime

Helena is the Alexander Technique teacher at C1 CHC. She is a certified ‘The Interactive Teaching Method’ teacher after four years training with Don Weed in the ITM of the Alexander Technique. Inspired by travel and performance, she is rewarded to help people take their own journeys to personal improvement. [The Alexander Technique puts a smile on her face.]

Zofie Kucia

Zofie is our Clinical Hypnotherapist. After encountering the world of clinical hypnosis as a client she rapidly became passionate about the workings of the human mind and how learning to utilise its immense powers in beneficial ways can have far reaching effects. We are delighted to be able to add her services to what we offer at C1.

Zak Han
MB MATCM
Zak earned a MB in Medical Science from the Fourth Military Medical University in China in 1985. He then worked at the Zhuque Army Hospital for 20 years where he was a surgeon for 8 years. He was Principal of Zhuque Chinese-West Medicine Combined Clinic and Vice-President of Zhuque Army Hospital from 1999 to 2004 before moving to the UK with his family. Zak trained in acupuncture and has since gone on to qualify in Acupressure Massage and Tuina Massage Therapy. He is registered with ATCM(UK) and now has a busy practice in Bristol and London. He is with us at C1 on Thursdays and Fridays.

John Murray
BSc(Psych) MA BACP
John is our Counselling Psychologist. He has a Psychology BSc and a Counselling Studies MA. He’s also an assocaite member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling Practitioners) and receives regular supervision from a BACP accredited supervisor and participates in frequent post-graduate training. John has been supporting people through difficult periods of their lives since 2000 with a theoretical approach that is Integrative, embodied within a Person Centered Counselling relationship and he uses different models to suit the needs of individual clients.

Ben Tolson
MTI
Ben is one of C1's great soft tissue experts. He trainied at the Bristol School of Massage and Bodywork in 2004 and has been practicing massage in Bristol since then. He has a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal problems. He is registered with The Massage Training Institute and insured to practice. Ben is also currently studying for his BSc honours in Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.
