What is Yoga?

Yoga is an ancient science originating in India and is seen to be the oldest system of personal and spiritual development in the world.  Originating in India more than five thousand years ago Yoga benefits the body, mind and spirit.  Hatha Yoga is the most popular branch of Yoga practiced in the West and a typical practice consists of a sequence asanas or postures which when practiced diligently can benefit you enormously. 
Anybody can practice yoga. You don't need any special clothing or equipment - just a desire to fully experience all the benefits the practice of Yoga can bring.  With regular practice, in time you will notice a profound impact on your life - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

How will it benefit me?

Classes

At C1 we offer six week courses suitable for all levels of practioner. We also have course designed specifically for Runners and Cyclists. These courses are generally held during lunchtimes, to fit into a busy daily schedule.  It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and Yoga mats are provided. Spaces on these popular courses are limited, so do call to book in advance.
